Home Support

We all hit a 'bad patch' at sometime in our lives, when some extra help makes a big difference.  Often, part of that help comes from friends, neighbours or family members, but you may need more or require professional services.

Progroup staff can work with you, your family and other programs to see you have the type and amount of services needed and given by the appropriate level of staff.

• Home management assistance
      -basic light housekeeping (vacuuming, floor washing, dusting, kitchen and bathroom cleaning)
      -seasonal cleaning including windows, appliances, curtains, moving of furniture, closets/shelves
      -laundry, ironing, linen changes
      -meal preparation
      -shopping, community access

• Personal Care  
      -bathing/showering assistance
      -grooming
      -dressing/undressing
      -medication supervision
      -bowel care
      -bladder/incontinence care
      -transfers/mobility

• Childcare
      -special needs or respite
      -hourly or live-in
      -transportation to/from school/activities
